This project starts from the tension between experiencing a space and seeing it represented in a photograph. Everyday objects, surfaces, shadows and fragments become a way of exploring that tension. What matters is not only what things are, but where they are, how they occupy space, and the relationships they form with what surrounds them.

These relationships continue from one photograph to the next. Positions, intervals, repetitions and interruptions generate rhythms and new configurations. Together, the images seek to make visible some of the relationships through which space takes shape.
