An Unspoiled Nature
Following in the footsteps of Odoardo Beccari, an Italian botanist who made many expeditions in the Sarawak forest (Malaysia) at the end of the nineteenth century, I made this project in the same area as a comparison after more than a century with the same contrasting emotions that a visit to that area causes.
Fear, awe, and fatigue are part of the experience during a visit to a primeval forest, along with fascination and wonder. So the theme is the relationship with the wilderness.
