The image is mute, silent, but at the same time changeable. It is mute not because it does not say, but because it does not affirm: it presents itself, as it is, open to the viewer's reading.

This project explores the formal and expressive possibilities of the square format. Its closed structure concentrates the space of the image, turning each photograph into a kind of autonomous microcosm, where fragments of everyday reality are isolated and organized into new configurations.

The images are deliberately heterogeneous and do not construct a linear narrative. As they unfold, forms, structures, colors, surfaces and light echo and contradict one another, generating rhythms and counterpoints. What initially appears stable and recognizable gradually shifts, giving way to a more uncertain perception.

Each image concentrates reality within the square; the montage sets it in motion again, allowing connections and resonances to emerge across the series.
