It is a municipal road about three kilometres long that connects Provincial Road 43a in the San Sebastiano area with the centre of the village of Sessame. It does not have a specific name, it is simply referred to as Regione Albareto Asinari.

It is a small country road that runs through a largely uninhabited area. The series follows it throughout its entire course. It is the only actor and protagonist. It is a journey, an exploration of a man-made artefact and its encounter/clash with the surrounding nature.
