Abstract Surfaces

How strange is the frame that contains a picture and it is almost impossible

to look through. I thought over and over about this question - photography

that copies reality. Is it possibile to do otherwise? To employ that space,

that rectangle or square, as such and not as an artefact of reality. So I began

to study the depth of that space, willing to penetrate deeply in each layer

and to disclose appearances. Images so achieved are the domain of chaos

and unknown shape, of tragedy and sublime. No more pictures of an experience,

but themselves an experience. Not a denotative photography but the achievement

of new surfaces. No description, no shape, neither icons nor symbols, nothing

similar or equivalent. A different photography that simply a registration of reality.
